Privacy Policy

This policy covers the website simonebook.services. Simone ApS is the data controller. The web shop at shop.simonebook.services has its own privacy policy (online when the web shop opens on 1 October 2026).

2. What we collect

Newsletter sign-up: your e-mail address, your name if you give it, which form you used and when you agreed to receive letters.

Newsletter preferences: the topics you choose on the preferences page.

Enquiries and orders sent through our forms (curation, reading designs, the event space, sourcing): what you write, and your name and contact details.

This website runs no analytics and no advertising tags.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

Letters: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time with the link at the foot of every letter, on the preferences page, or by writing to us.

Enquiries: to answer you and to prepare an agreement you ask for (art. 6(1)(b)).

Bookkeeping: when an enquiry becomes a sale, the law requires us to keep the records (art. 6(1)(c)).

4. How long we keep it

Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. We keep a record of your consent and of your unsubscribing for 2 years after, to document it.

Enquiries for as long as needed to answer and follow up, and at most 2 years. Records of a sale are kept for 5 years, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires.

5. Who processes it for us

These companies process data for us under a data processing agreement:

• Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland): our customer records and letters.
• Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Workspace, our e-mail.
• Vercel Inc.: hosting of this website.
• Web3Forms: passes messages from our forms to our inbox.

Some of them process data outside the EU. Those transfers rely on the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell your data.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@simonebooks.dk. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.

7. Cookies

This website sets no statistics or marketing cookies. The press page remembers one display choice in your browser; that is not tracking.

The web shop uses cookies only with your consent, and explains them in its own privacy policy (online when the web shop opens on 1 October 2026).

8. Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
